TrueKnowledge Launches Evi Questioning Answering Application

iPhone recently launched their voice driven personal assistant in their latest version the iPhone 4S. iPhone 4 the predecessor doesn't have this feature, but with some tricks and tweaks you can install it. Siri got a real good response and became very popular among the smartphone community. Now, a new software has been launched not by Apple but by the famous website TrueKnowledge, the software is called Evi and has stepped up the Siri competitor. There is a lot more to tell about this new software and how it works, so keep hooked on to this post. Evi is available both for iOS and Android, so need to wait for it to get to your device. Evi was launched back a couple of days back but the servers hosting it have been overloaded due to its immense popularity gain. Let's check out some of the features and details of Evi, read on below.

TrueKnowledge, if you have not visited this website before you should do it then. It's a really well designed website which answers your search queries with proper details and accuracy. Above is a screen shot of the the question we asked "Where is Turkey?"

TrueKnowledge which is the backend of Evi software doesn't works like a normal search engine like Google.com, it works on its own algorithm and this is what makes it unique. There semantic technology understands the user's questions and answer it rather then giving various results. To understand how the search engine works, see the descriptive video.

Evi is the front end of TrueKnowledge, so it's important for you to understand that how the back end of it works. It is currently available both for iOS and Android, which is definitely a good step to initiate into the smartphone market. On iTunes it is available at a price of $0.99 and for Android it is absolutely free.

Evi supports a very nice look and the design is somewhat eye catchy as well. You may see the official 'Meet Evi' and introduction to Evi video below, which is uploaded officially.

Evi may not be supporting the funny answers as Siri does, like will you marry me Siri? etc. but this may be the sign that Evi is for serious users or for those who like it to the point. Evi servers are getting overloaded and they need not to be, the users should be provided with a full service and it  should not be interrupted. Anyhow, the response Evi is getting is pretty much good but it should be made better.

Here are the links if you want to download it for Android or for the iPhone.
