Chrysler's GEM Peopod Electric Car

Chrysler has announced its new arrival for the year 2009,the GEM Peapod electric car.In comparison with the earlier cars made much can be expected from the peopod,however Chrysler hasn't gone out with the details but has given a few.

Peopod will be more aerodynamic than the earlier and the seats will be made out of mesh material for better air regulation and will be made out of recycled friendly material.Peopod will get a speed of 25mph,not more than that and will get about 30 miles in a single battery charge.

Another detail is that it will have a built-in interface for ipod and iphone for making hands-free calls.The eco-friendly car will get in production in the early 2009 and will hopefully get a nice response from the costumers.
