Bing Joins with Facebook for Social Search Experience

Facebook's owner Mark Zuckerberg joined hands with Microsoft for enhancing their search engine "Bing". This means that searching would be a whole new experience for users as it would be adding up the social factor in it. Facebook is the leading social website with millions of active users world wide, today there would be hardly any person without a Facebook account. The joint venture seems to go a long way to further much more enhancement in Microsoft other services as well.

The news is actually pretty huge as it could give a serious blow to the number one search engine Google. Having said that its not an easy game for Microsoft to win, yes Facebook integration would sure enhance the usability but they need to add up a Facebook connect widget to raise the bars high for its competitors.

The plan seems pretty clean and clear that Microsoft wants its search engine to get the attention what it needs, giving a direct signal to its competitors that they are back in action. Secondly, being optimistic about this new connection we see the integration of Facebook in other Microsoft's products and this could mean that the millions of active and loyal Facebook users would definitely move on to use use Bing and Hotmail etc as it would give them a great social experience altogether.

Lets, talk about the Facebook integration in Bing. There is a official video which you can see below that would give you an idea of how this new thing would work. Its like you search for a movie and it would show you results with your friend's likes on the particular movie. Its a nice short video, so do watch it.

Only time and results would decide whether the Microsoft+Facebook connection is a good idea or not.
